Lynn Dale

I'm originally from Scotland and have been qualified as a PT for several years. I work with a lot of mothers with young children. With three children myself, I think I understand the time constraints and other difficulties mums have in making time for themselves. It's important to be fit and active so you have the energy to look after the kids and still have some left over to look after yourself.

I massively enjoy being a 'ptbuddy' and being able to work with clients all over the country. They really benefit from being able to fit in workouts at a time to suit them and from having someone professional oversee their fitness and weight loss progress. With everyone leading busier and busier lives, it seems that this is the way forward in the industry.

I've always been interested in exercise and physical activity starting my working life as a professional dancer and then moving into fitness. My life is a balance between career, house, bringing up my two lovely girls and my own fitness goals!

I've taken part in a number of marathons over recent years, obstacle races and other events and understand that all round fitness including using weights is essential to avoiding injury and to maximising the benefits from my training.

I have been passionate about sport and exercise for as long as I can remember. This includes a passion to help others reach their fitness and health goals. I am particularly keen to encourage beginners and those who consider themselves 'unfit' - it's never too late and we are committed to working with you and getting you to where you want to be. I find it hugely rewarding to see the progress clients make and the positive impact it has on their health and wellbeing.

My personal fitness journey started about 10 years ago when I took up Karate with my then small son. To progress it became clear that I would need to be physically a lot fitter, so, as I am driven by targets, I started entering short triathlons. The benefits of becoming more active have impacted on almost every area of my life, I no longer battle with my weight, I sleep well, I feel less stressed despite a very busy schedule.

When I retired from working as a health professional in the NHS for over 30 years I trained as a Personal Trainer. I am professionally and personally aware of the positive impact increased daily activity and regular exercise can have on an individual, both physically and psychologically. I am keen to assist anybody, at any age, to take control of their own well-being and fitness and enjoy all the benefits being a bit more active can bring.

I have been training clients for over twenty five years. No two clients are the same and I try and give 100% to each client. It's hugely satisfying when a client achieves their goals and even better when they say "I couldn't have done it without you"!

I'm very excited about this brand new venture into online personal training. We aim to deliver the same personal, high quality service that we do in person with detailed weekly personal training and eating programmes. Our online clients all have daily motivational contact from their personal trainer 'buddy' and a weekly chat via Skype or Facetime. Put this together with our unique online video library and a range of other fantastic client benefits and we guarantee our clients will reach all their fitness and weight loss goals.

Clients have the freedom to progress on their terms without being tied to attending a studio or gym, but with the same benefits of a full time personal trainer – and all for a lot less than you would think.
